Primarily railroad stock and bond certificates from Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and a small group of miscelaneous certificates filed at the end. The group is primarily of unissued and uncancelled certificates. The bulk date from the latter quarter of the 19th century. Includes "Stocks and bonds of North American railroads: collectors' guide with values, " by Terry Cox, 1995, (gift of Frank Novak, who processed the collection).
